Course info
This course is for therapeutic radiographers or other health care professionals working in radiotherapy and oncology. You need access to a clinical environment to support the demands of your postgraduate work. Some modules are radiotherapy specific while others are more general health care options.This allows you to tailor the course to your own career development needs. You can carry out independent study modules. This may involve studying a topic or project not covered by our taught programme but is related to your practice. You could also gain academic credit for work-based learning. For this you are responsible for setting learning objectives centred around your workplace and how they will be achieved. You may be eligible to apply for accreditation of work-based projects and prior certificated learning, which will count towards your final award.

Entry Requirements
Normally five GCSEs or equivalent including mathematics and English language at grade C or above plus one of the following: one A level pass or evidence of other further study; NVQ III in diagnostic and therapeutic support or health care; access to health course from an Open College network-accredited health course. The University will consider on merit applicants who are over 21 years of age and have other qualifications. The University may ask mature candidates who do not have any evidence of recent study to take a recognised access course, NVQIII or study skills programme.
