Course info
The aims of the course are to simulate, encourage and develop photographic communication using appropriate materials and techniques. Research skills are developed together with a relevant working vocabulary, experimentation, observation, perception, imagination and technical control. You will be expected to spend time taking photographs outside of class time. The course aims to: develop intellectual, imaginative and creative power, develop technical, expressive, investigative, analytical, experimental skills and critical judgement, develop knowledge and understanding of the achievements of photographers past and present, develop an understanding of the connections between photography and other aspects of art and design.

Entry Requirements
Normal entry requirements to A Level programmes are: To do 3 AS Levels 5 GCSEs of Grade C or above, including English Language or Maths. To do 4 AS Levels 6 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English Language or Maths with a Grade B average.
