This course is for specialist drug or alcohol workers who want to learn more about the policy context and implications for practice. Students will consider the policy context and practical implications of models of care for workers; develop practical skills in triage or comprehensive assessment in line with national guidance ; understand how to promote the diversity, equality and rights of service users; develop skills in care planning to meet identified needs.
