Course info
This course is for people who have some experience of working with substance users and feel able to produce a portfolio of evidence at Level 3 A level standard. It provides participants with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding by critically discussing and evaluating factors that influence drug use, drug uses and service provision, including models of dependency, culture, epidemiology, social policy and legislation; making informed predictions about the principles of the bio-psycho-social model; predicting the influence of culture and the impact of attitudes upon drug use and drug uses.
